The driving force behind Dinoshark!, Roger Corman, has vast experience in the genre, and he put this experience to use when gathering his team to bring this saga to life. The GC effects were outstanding, most notable the Dinoshark design by Hollywood veteran Don Waller. Dinoshark moved like one would expect an animal from prehistoric time to move. It was completely at home in the water, where it's claim to the domain was left undisputed to all who came to challenge. This was an action-packed excursion into another world, guaranteed to take you along for a fun-filled ride. The title alone tells you that it's fantasy. You should not view this film expecting to see Citizen Kane. What you should expect, and what is delivered is a good story, well crafted and directed. We all need a little escape from the realities of today's world, and Dinoshark! is as good as an escape as it gets.
